Apple’s new software update has caused a problem for iPhone users.
On March 14, Apple released the iPadOS 15.4, macOS Monterey; watchOS 8.5; A new iOS 15.4 update for the iPhone has been released, along with HomePod Software 15.4 and tvOS 15.4. An important feature in iOS 15.4 is the ability to unlock FacePhone using FaceID even when the user is wearing a mask.
According to GSMArena, this is a great feature for users without an Apple Watch. Last year, iOS 14.5 introduced the FaceID feature that allows iPhone users with an Apple Watch to use FaceID while wearing a mask. The new iOS 15.4 works with Mask Battalion and FaceID, but one problem is that the battery is running low.
Twitter user Maxim Shishko claims that his iPhone 13 Pro Max is running low on battery after the iOS 15.4 update. Another iPhone 13 Pro Max owner claims that his phone only lasts half a day. Another user reported that his phone’s battery percentage dropped by 5% in less than 10 minutes.
The new iOS 15.4 runs from the iPhone 13 series to the iPhone SE 1st Gen and iPod Touch (7thGen) devices. Apple has not yet commented on the issue.
